Established by compassionate parents deeply invested in the world their children will inherit, Lalo and Nane initiated Ríos Limpios in response to a distressing incident at their child's school.

A toxic skin reaction, caused by polluted water from the river flowing beneath the school, prompted Lalo to orchestrate a river cleanup. Through collective efforts, parents from the school revitalized the once-contaminated river.

Starting with one small action, Rios Limpios has now picked up over 500,000KGs of trash across rivers, dams, beaches, lakes and canals all over Mexico.

Ríos Limpios embodies the belief that humans can achieve extraordinary results when united for a cause.
